Premier Tangaloor Dante’s Inferno

Dante is a male neuter red classic tabby Maine Coon, born in April 2003. (For those who don't own pedigree cats - pedigrees are never "ginger", they're always "red". :-) )He is a big softy and still behaves like a clumsy goofy kitten. He loves playing tug-of-war with feather sticks – unfortunately, due to his strength, the feather stick usually ends up being the loser! He has grown so big that he can easily reach the dining table with his front paws. His habit of fishing around with his paws to see what he can find - usually off plates at mealtimes - has led to his nickname of Ginger Pikey :-)

Dante did well at shows, and was my first cat to be made up to Premier. However, he does not enjoy being shown (he used to cry when I washed him, and his paws would shake when he was presented to judges!) so I decided to retire him from the show bench and keep him solely as a pet.

3-6 month old kitten:
Lincoln, August 30, 2003: Excellent First

6-10 month old kitten:
Milton Keynes, December 21, 2003: Excellent Second.

Adult Male Neuter:
Maidstone, February 29, 2004: CAP. Nominated for Best In Show.

Derby, April 24 & 25, 2004: CAP on both days, making him up to Premier.
