Premier Tangaloor Zuki Firetip, DSM.
Zuki is a female black classic tortie tabby with white Maine Coon, born in April 2003. She is a lovely girl with a wild look and a quiet disposition. She loves water, and is often to be found paddling in her drinking bowl, showering the room as she does so.
Zuki is best friends with Loki, my pet neuter boy, and loves nothing more than inciting him to chase her round the house (it's very funny, she walks up to him and if he ignores her, she flicks her tail at his face - it works every time!), then cuddling up with him and washing his head. At a recent show, a judge complimented me on how well-muscled she is - this compliment should actually go to Loki, as he keeps her so fit!
Zuki did wonderfully well at cat shows, winning every title she possibly could. She has won:
European Premier (winning 25 certificates as an Adult Neuter)
Best Overall Neuter of 2007 (all breeds)
Distinguished Show Merit (10 Best in Show wins over at least
2 years)
Zuki took up her well-deserved retirement on October 5, 2008, having finished her show career with a final Best in Show win, and winning the Maine Coon Guild Special "Best Female Neuter Maine Coon"
