Atticus Aurora Borealis

Aurora is a silver tortie tabby & white girl, born in November 2007. She did her first show at 14 weeks old; the judge said she was very promising. She is a lovely clear silver, with good boning and a super long muzzle - a very typey girl. Her coat is such a clear silver it almost sparkles! Her older sister Atticus Sambuca did extremely well on the show bench, her dad Rom (Yaheska Romulus) was Maine Coon of the Year in 2007-08, and her litter-mate Guy (Atticus Guy of Giscoon) has his share of Best in Show titles.

Aurora is a sweet-natured and chatty girl with such a squeaky voice that she often gets called Squeaky around the house. Her favourite game is playing "fetch" with one particular type of toy mouse - when she loses her mouse she makes such a fuss! At one party, we had the entire room-ful of people looking for her mouse while she miaowed pathetically - I ended up hunting down the type pf mouse online and buying her 20 of them just to keep her happy :-)

Aurora had a lovely litter in 2009, and later this summer will be going to stud at Koonikki Maine Coons
