Considering a kitten?

If you are away all day, and your kitten is going to live indoors, please consider two kittens rather than one! A cat confined to the house all day with no company will lead a boring, potentially miserable life. If you don’t want two pedigree cats, consider another cat from a rescue centre (the rescue centre personnel will be able to advise you which of their cats may be suited to a life indoors). Most kittens and cats, from different breeds and litters, will be able to adapt to one another.
